R-Anell Homes "Half & Half Raffle" for Relay For Life Underway
DENVER, NORTH CAROLINA, March 31, 2004 — R-Anell Homes, the oldest and most established manufacturer of custom homes in the Southeast since 1972, is holding a first-ever "Half & Half Raffle" in support of the May Relay for Life event in Lincolnton.
With $4,400 already raised, the company hopes to reach a goal of between $8,000 and $9,000 in the raffle, which benefits the American Cancer Society (ACS). Half of the final total will go to one winner, and the other half will go to ACS. In addition, R-Anell President Dennis Jones will match the second half that was awarded to the winner in order to pay the full amount from the raffle to ACS.
"Our company is committed to our community, and to everyone who lives here," said Dennis Jones. "Virtually everyone has in some way been touched by cancer, many have lost a loved one to this disease, and we believe Relay for Life is one important way our company can help in the fight to find a cure."
