R-Anell Sets Two Upscale Modulars at Show
November-December 2003 Building Systems magazine
R-Anell Housing Group (Denver, NC), one of the oldest and most established manufacturers of custom homes in the Southeast, showcased two of its custom modular home designs at the North Carolina Manufactured Housing Institute's show, which ran September 3-4 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The homes' new features include stucco accents, granite countertops, and windows that now provide energy-efficient low-e glass as standard. The homes will be part of an R-Anell "neighborhood" setting.
R-Anell, which offers custom home designs ranging from 1,000- to 4,000-square-feet, set its Savannah 798 design, a home that has 2,218 heated square feet of living space and an additional 1,393 square feet of additional upstairs space for future expansion. The newest, upscale features for the home are granite countertops for both the kitchen and two full baths and stucco trim accents for the exterior of the traditional Southern low-country style home.
R-Anell's windows for all home designs now offer low-e glass with high-tech coatings that provide greater energy efficiency to keep a home protected in both summer and winter and increase cost efficiency for customers. The home comes Energy Star ready with 2x6 exterior walls with an R19 rating. Other amenities include oak-tread stairs, cherry cabinetry in the kitchen, large great room, study, formal dining room, extensive interior trim work and a 6'x35" front porch.
The second home design shown at the event is the Gold Medal GMS51 design, with 1,660 heated square feet and another 779 square feet of upstairs space for future home expansion. The three-bedroom, two-bath home has a living room with a see-through fireplace into the dining room and a kitchen featuring white cabinetry and ceramic edging and backsplash. Energy Star ready, the home has low-e windows standard and a GE appliance package that includes a 22-cubic-foot side-by-side refrigerator with icemaker, smooth top electric range, microwave and dishwasher.
In other news from the company, Andy Miller, R-Anell's general manager, has been named as first vice president of the North Carolina Manufactured Housing Institute (NCMHI). Miller will serve in this capacity from July 2003 to July 2004. He will be NCMHI's president following his first term as vice president. |
